Choose the lesson format, duration and frequency that best suits your needs.
The prices shown in the 4th and 5th columns are based on a full academic year from September through June, both months included: 36 weekly lessons or 19 lessons every two weeks.
Students under 21 are exempt from 21% VAT (btw). For students aged 21 and over, the prices shown include 21% VAT (btw).

A FLEXIBLE LESSON PROGRAMME
The lesson programme is flexible and can be adapted to each student’s personal situation.
Changes or cancellation of the lessons are possible with one month’s notice.
If a lesson is cancelled for any reason, it can be made up free of charge during the first two weeks of July:
up to two lessons for weekly students;
up to one lesson for students attending every two weeks.

The total cost depends on the chosen:
lesson type;
lesson duration;
lesson frequency;
and lesson period.
The exact number of lessons and the total amount due will always be stated on the registration form.

ROTTERDAMPAS FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Eligible children from lower-income families in Rotterdam can receive financial support for both flute lessons and their instrument through the Rotterdampas.
Through the Sport- en cultuurtegoed, families can receive up to €600 per year towards individual flute lessons, which can reduce the family contribution to approximately €48 per month for a full school year.
Eligible students can also use an instrument voucher of up to €100 towards the rental or purchase of a flute through Flute School Rotterdam.

DUO & GROUP LESSONS
DUO & GROUP LESSONS
Duo and group lessons are not organised by the school.
Students are required to register together with the partner or partners with whom they would like to take the lessons. This helps ensure that all participants are motivated and that lesson time can be used to its full potential.
For group lessons with more than 4 people, please contact the school directly.

Looking for a lesson for a specific occasion, without committing to regular lessons?
Private or group lessons can also be arranged on a non-regular basis.
Whether you would like to prepare a particular piece, get ready for a performance or simply have a lesson now and then, feel free to get in touch and we can see what works best for you.

DON'T HAVE A FLUTE YET?
Students can purchase carefully selected second-hand flutes through the school at very competitive prices.
Flutes purchased through the school include a buy-back guarantee: if you later decide not to continue playing, the school will buy the instrument back for at least 70% of the original purchase price, provided that it remains in good condition and meets the conditions of the buy-back scheme.
